La Gran Orquesta de Francisco Buckley aka "Bush Y Sus Magnificos" are considered to be one of the finest salsa bands to come out of Panama. Formed in 1967 by Francisco Buckley the band conquered salsa dancers and music aficionados with their punchy no nonsense big band sound.

This compilation, along with Volume 2, contains the best of their output over the years and is considered essential listening for any salsa fan.

Hailing from Panama 'Bush' was highly popular amongst saleros in New York City during the 1990s. Bush use a brass and string to create a hard-edged funky salsa sound that both danceable and surprisingly progressive.
