One of the most innovative and interesting progressive rock bands in Hungary, After Crying came together in 1986 and have steadily built up a following releasing albums that fuse prog rock, jazz and their own brand of classical music. Their music now being referred to by many as sympho-rock. Influences come from the likes of King Crimson, Keith Emerson, Frank Zappa etc.

After Crying on themselves:
The aim of this creative community has ever been to compose contemporary, up-to-date classical music that many people can understand – since it uses elements of today’s everyday musical idiom; and at the same time is able to convey deep meaning at a high artistic level, dealing with serious issues of our time. A kind of "up-to-date classical music"... On the stage, their regular instrumentarium ranges from classic-acoustic instruments (cello, trumpet, piano, flute) to the standard setup of a modern rock band. From time to time they play shows with a chamber or symphony orchestra. On their studio-albums countless variations of classical and modern compositional methods and instrumentation appear, from acoustic chamber lineup to 21st century symphonic and electronic sounds.

By their 10th birthday After Crying has became a world-wide known and accepted progressive band. Their albums are saleable and flavoured products in Japan, America and Europe, indeed in Brazil too. Reviewers only praise them all over the world. Number of their fans permanently grows both in Hungary and abroad. On the occasion of anniversary they released a double album intended to delight their fans and everyone who is yearning for 21st century music. There is 143 minutes material on this double CD including a few remastered tracks from their former four albums and more than 100 minutes previously unreleased recordings of them. (e.g. "Tear the pictures apart!", "Overture", "Fly!"). On the Disk Two they presents After Crying live on CD the very first time. (including "21st century schizoid man", two amazing solos, piano solo from Csaba Vedres and cello solo from Péter Pejtsik). This record is available only on CD."
