'Ivánovics Tünde is a student of ethnology at the University of Szeged,
and fulfills a prominent role in the Hungarian Folk-music movement in Vojvodina as a talented folk-singer. She has been performing before an audience since her early
childhood and she is particularly drawn to the eastern musical regions of the Hungarian dialect
i.e. Transylvania.
Ivánovics finds most pleasure in singing folk-songs
from the Mezoség and Kalotaszeg regions, but as it is reflected by her repertoire, she
has not neglected the songs of her home-land, the Dél Alföld.
Her refined ability of melodizing, the moderated ornaments of her beautifully flowing musical phrases and the enchanting color of her
voice make her a prestigious solo performer- a distinctive individual among the
many folk-song interpreters.'
