On 'Tukros Tabor' the band once
again ably prove why their CDs and their summer folk camp, are among the
most popular in Hungary today.
The members of the Tukros ...
'... have been visiting folk camps for long years. In one corner of our small country every year, for 8 days long we had fun, joy, music and dance. Besides dance- and music-teaching the most remarkable experience was the intertwining days and nights of
reveling and the free, unclouded amusement which remain the most unforgettable.
In these camps Hungarian folk music and folk dance become a living language, self-evidently used even by those who had probably learned only at school. On this CD we aimed to pass over these experiences.'
The 15 minute Gypsy dance and Csardas (track 9) is simply stunning!
