'In this new album one of the best-known folk band in Hungary presents their musical experiments. Beside specific folk-adaptations they try themselves in American traditional blues, Hungarian alternative rock and other genres.'

Folk and traditional music with a helping of blues and rock characterise this new release from Csik

Csík Ensemble was formed in Kecskemét, in 1988. Over the years they have been playing Hungarian folk music and have become popular playing at dance-houses and concerts in Hungary and abroad. The admiration of the professional community is proved by the fact that the Csík won the title of "The Young Masters of Folk Arts" in 1991, the Main Prize of the Fourth Folk Music Festival of Bonyhád and also the Special Prize of The Hungarian Radio.

The band was also awarded the title of "Excellent Folk Art Ensemble".
