'The Earth - Wheel - Sky Band are one of the first projects of the Roma musicians in Vojvodina, Serbia. The band was founded in 1981. Having in  mind the experience of jazz, rock and Roma folk music, the leader of the group Vince Olah wanted to give his contribution to the music of the Roma people, as one of the strong points in the fight for Roma emancipation.


Earth - Wheel - Sky Band founder leader Olah Vince is a journalist, human rights activist, and founder of: Matica Rromska in Yugoslavia, Society for Language and Literature in Vojvodina, Citizens’ Association Rroma Music, Union of Rromany Societies of Vojvodina, Rromany National Council, Them magazine, Rromany department in Radio 021 in Novi Sad.
