This is a live recording from this excellent new gipsy band.

Finding new influences from other gypsy cultures, such as those from Russia, France, Spain as well as the Balkans, the Szilvási Gipsy Folk Band have created new possibilities in their arrangements of Hungarian Gypsy folk songs.

Mainly they perform traditional gypsy songs with traditional gypsy instruments; water can, guitar, oral bass improvisations etc, however, their modern arrangements and guest musicians make for an exciting blend, which distinguishes them from other gypsy bands.
