'Primarily based on folk instruments of Macedonia and south of Serbia, and supported by the choir of the Orthodox Cathedral of the Patriarchate of Belgrade, Goran Bregovic mixes traditional music and hymns in a swirl illustrating with wonder the richness of people deeply entrenched in his traditions and the religion. Environments often serious and collected, with the antipodes of the usual stereotypes.'
