Attila Lőrinszky – nagybőgő, double bass

From record label:
"Kathy-Horváth is one of the greatest composers and improvisers of modern
contemporary music. His importance should be mentioned alongside György Kurtág and Péter
Eötvös. A descendent of a great musical family the young violinist played in the most important Hungarian jazz bands in the 60's. Soon he joined with
György Szabados, pianist. At the
beginning of the 70's he started playing with Béla Szakcsi Lakatos and Gyula Babos in the
Rákfogó Ensemble. György Cifra invited him to Paris. After wining the Bartók violin-contest there, he started teaching and playing concerts as the assistant to Yehudi Menuhin for many years."
