"After several demo tracks the songstress MARTINA TRCHOVÁ recorded her first official album that is so fresh that it bears the name ČERSTVĚ NATŘENO (FRESHLY PAINTED). One of the impulses for its birth was winning of the prestige award – Krteček (Little Mole) at the festival Zahrada (Garden) in 2004. Jan Friedl provided a recording time to this album in his recording studio in Vyšší Brod. All has been evolving since January 2005 so that in May it can bring joy of young author’s music to listeners. An excellent guitar player JAN-MATĚJ RAK and flautist and singer KAROLÍNA SKALNÍKOVÁ, who regularly perform at the concerts of Martina Trchová, who accompanies herself on electric guitar, cooperated on the album. The album is seasoned by number of other guests, as for example musicians from the band KOA – MÁRIO BIHÁRI on accordion and FRANTIŠEK RABA on contrabass, further then family team VÍT SÁZAVSKÝ and VLAĎKA HOŘOVSKÁ on stringed instruments, JAROSLAV KVASNIČKA on percussion or BORIS KUBÍČEK on saxophone. In the last refrain of the last song there can be heard also the voice of the songstress ŽOFIE KABELKOVÁ. As far as the genre is concerned the album can be classified into the great folk family, however some songs are slightly jazzy, other dance with Latin rhythms, some float on the waves of waltz again, but there can be found almost rock song as well. All is colorful, almost in the same manner as the cover, which is designed as a little artefact – because this album is not only the album of songstress, but also a graphic artist…"
