A 3 CD set of recordings from the archives of Radio Belgrade, recorded between 1954 and 1964. Comes with 48 page booklet, with authoritative notes in English.


As early as 1929 Radio Belgrade asked talented violinist Carevac to found has own folk orchestra, these recordings being from their archive.


Disc one is mainly the folk orchestra while discs two and three feature soloists both instrumental and vocal. The songs are mainly from various parts of Serbia but also include some from Bosnia and Montenegro. There are short notes on each song within the CD booklet.
