Following the path of the "Srbija' Sounds Global" release, the B92 record label continues the concept of a consecutive presentation of the Serbian World Music scene.

Ognjen Popovic graduated from the Munich School of Music in 1999, gaining distinction on the clarinet. Soon after this he incorporated into his own compositions the music of his homeland of Serbia and the Balkans.

In his native town of Pancevo in 1998 Ognjen with some friends put together a band to play a 'concoction of everything inherent to the Balkans: rebellious nature, despair, wailing, immense sorrow, unrestrained temperament, and the joy of life'.

All tracks on this CD release are written and arranged by Ognjen, except 4, 9, and 13 which are traditional tunes being arranged by him.
